TUPPER LAKE- Armond Daniels, 83, of Tupper Lake passed away at his home on Emma Street on Sunday, December 18th. Born in Plattsburgh, January 23, 1928, he was the son of Charles and Rosanna (Giroux) Daniels. Most of Armond's family grew up in Plattsburgh. Armond moved to Tupper Lake in the 1970's after living in various homes before receiving services through The Adirondack Arc . Armond was very active in the Tupper Lake community, Armand was a member of the Natural History Museum, the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Adirondack Adult Center. Armond enjoyed volunteering and spending time with his friends at the Village garage also with his friends in the community. He was well known in Tupper for smoking his pipe, riding his bike on the back road and delivering the Tupper Lake Free Press. Armond loved to laugh, making others laugh while spending time with them. He had many hobbies including painting, crafts, lawn care, country music and listening to his scanning while keeping his friends informed with the activities going on. He passion for anything to do with bears. He will be sadly missed by his family at Emma Street, all of his buddies at the Village Garage, including his long time friend Mike "Bonehead" Sparks and all of his friends in the Tupper Lake community. He is survived by family in Plattsburgh, Rome and Florida. Calling hours will be held, Tuesday December 20th from 2 - 3:30pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home.
