Carol A. Dame, age 78, of Saranac Lake, NY died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her home following a brief illness.

Born in Malone, New York on July 10, 1943, she was the daughter of Viola and Miles (Jarvis) Dame.

Carol was a long-time resident of Saranac Lake and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed listening to music, plants & flowers, scenic views, dining at local restaurants especially McKenzie’s, and relaxing outside when the weather was nice.

Carol is survived by her brother Daniel (Donnell) Dame of Plattsburgh, John (Debra) Dame of Branson, Missouri, Sharon (Bob) Dodge of Branson, Missouri, Susan Dame of Oklahoma, Bob (Sheila) Dame of Florida and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews and her Sunmount family. She was pre-deceased by her siblings: Giles, Kenny and Diane.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. Due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone, NY.
