Death Notice

Word has been received of the death of Jessica Lee Cotton-LaFever, age 38, of Saranac Lake, NY who died on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, NY following a brief illness.

Jessica was born in Ohio on November 9, 1982 to Jenda and Jessie Cotton and married Ged A. LaFever on June 21, 2008 in Saranac Lake, NY.

Jessica is survived by her husband Ged, her mother Jenda, her daughters: Ashley Yelle of Plattsburgh, NY, Mary Yelle of Malone, NY and Dakota, Heaven & Valerie LaFever of Saranac Lake, NY. Her brother Shawn Cotton and two sisters: Jasmine Landry of Malone, NY and Amanda Cotton of Florida.

Jessica was preceded in death by her infant daughter Gillian Yelle and her brother Kristopher Cotton

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home of Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours and funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
