Dana Marie Conway, 34, of Bloomingdale died tragically on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Born in Saranac Lake on December 13, 1982, she was a 2001 graduate of Saranac Lake High School.
She was the loving and doting mother to her daughters Angelina Jennie-Marie, 11, Jezibelle Sky, 6, and Raven Moon, 5. She was the beloved youngest daughter of her mother Virginia (Shene) Whitelaw and stepfather Tim of Bloomingdale, and father Didier Le Pichon of Marsonnas, France. She will be forever remembered by her brother William Everett, his wife Aubrey, and his daughter Julia of Massachusetts; sister Angelique Duso, her husband Nathan, and her sons Matthew, Caleb, and Dylan of Malone. Dana will be dearly missed by her large circle of extended family and dear friends.
During her short, but adventurous lifetime, Dana lived in Massachusetts, California, North Carolina, and France, in addition to her many years in upstate New York. Her creative mind was drawn to the color purple because of it’s calming and inspirational meaning. She was a passionate advocate for both our planet and animals. She is remembered for the beautiful notes she penned, which always brought reflection and warmth to the receiver. Her humor, deep laughter, and playfulness all contributed to her joie de vivre. Limited as her stature and life may have been, the legacy of her love and gratitude to those fortunate to have known her is immense. In essence, she personified this Ralph Waldo Emerson quote: “It is not length of life, but depth of life.”
