Word has been received of the death of Elaine L. Coddington Lamporte, age 87 of Long Lake, NY. at her residence surrounded by her family under the care of High Peaks Hospice.
Elaine was born on September 7, 1936 in Rockford, Ill, the daughter of Thure and Genevieve (Dentler) Peterson. She married Richard Lamporte on October 20, 2001 in Newcomb, NY.
Elaine was a small business owner, operating a marina for many years.
She is survived by her husband Richard, her two daughters: Natalie Coddington and Amy Coddington-Burnett and one son Kenneth Coddington, as her Grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. A Graveside memorial service is scheduled for Friday September 15, 2023 in the Long Lake Cemetery, Long Lake, NY.
Elaine's family invites all family and friends to attend the service and share a memory or two about Elaine.
