Donna R. Clement passed away unexpectedly on February 08, 2011 after a brief illness.
Donna was born on March 5th, 1943 in North Tonawanda, NY to Henry and Beatrice Rule. She moved to Tupper Lake as an infant. She attended Tupper Lake schools and graduated from Tupper Lake High School in 1961. She married Edward “Red” Clement on November 4th, 1961. Donna worked for the Village and Town of Tupper from 1976 until her retirement in 2007, most of that time she served as Deputy Assessor. Upon her retirement she continued to work for the Assessor’s Office part time until the time of her death. Donna greatly enjoyed serving the people of Tupper Lake; she especially enjoyed assisting her beloved Senior Citizens with filing their STAR paperwork. Previous to her public employment she worked at Tupper Lake National Bank and Mercy Hospital. Donna enjoyed reading, listening to music, spending time with her children and grandchildren, four wheeling, and cuddling with her dog, Moe.
Donna is survived by her six children, Lori LeBlanc and her husband Christopher, Amy Breton and her companion, Richard Stout, Scott Clement and his wife Michelle, Dawn Carmichael and her husband Geoffrey, Pamela Brickey and her companion Scott Hollenbeck, and Branden Clement, all of Tupper Lake. She is also survived by her eleven grand children, Nathan Trudeau and his fiancé Shannon Mann, Kyle Trudeau and his wife Kayla, Scott LeBlanc, Krista LeBlanc, Shawna Brickey, Samantha Brickey, Cody Brickey, Genna Carmichael, Nicholas Skiff, Elliot Clement, and Bayleigh Clement, all of Tupper Lake. Donna was eagerly awaiting the birth of her first great-grandson to Kyle and Kayla Trudeau. Her sister, Janet Ostolski and her husband Wayne of Wheatfield, NY and several brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews, also survive Donna. Her parents predeceased her.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Donna Clement on Saturday, February 12th from 1- 4 p.m. at the Stuart - Fortune - Keough Funeral Home, 24 Cliff Ave, Tupper Lake.
