TUPPER LAKE- Neil E. Charron, 43, of Bensalem, PA passed away unexpectedly, Monday, April 11, 2011. Born December 8, 1967 in Tupper Lake, he was the son of Nolan and Estelle (LaVoie) Charron. Neil was a graduate of Tupper Lake High School class of 1986. He attended Vanderbilt University and received his BA in Finance with summa cum laude honors from SUNY New Paltz. In 1989 he married his high school sweetheart, the former Debby Callaghan at St. Bernard's church in Saranac Lake. They relocated to New Paltz were Neil worked as a NYS corrections officer for several years. In 2001 Neil accepted a position with the State of Georgia employed as a Certified Internal Auditor. They made their home in Atlanta until 2009 moving to Bensalem, PA. Neil belonged to the Bethel Fellowship Church at Franklin Mills and was a very active member of the Men's Accountability Group (MAG). Neil always had a very entrepreneurial spirit, with the goal of running his own business someday that would be beneficial to others. He is survived by his wife Debby, daughters, Jennifer Charron, 26, Shauna Charron, 25, both of Tupper Lake, Kimberly Charron, 23, Kacie Charron, 20, both of Bensalem, PA, and two grandsons, Bailey, 6 and Peyton, 4, whom admired him greatly. Neil is also survived by both parents, one brother Reggie of Tupper Lake, two sisters, Lynn Becker of Florida and Audrey Charron of Glens Falls, and several close in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a daughter Rochelle in 1989 and one granddaughter Olivia in 2008. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus cemetery.
