Michael Campbell

Michael P. Campbell, 65, died Friday evening, 02/07/20, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY, after a long illness. Mike grew up in North Syracuse. He graduated from North Syracuse High School, and attended Onondaga Community College and Empire College Mike worked for many years in the hospitality business at several places around Central New York.

He was predeceased by his father, William, his mother, Alice, and his son Kristopher. He is survived by his wife Suzanne, son, Nikolaus (Lindi), grandson William, granddaughter Maya Mayiji, Son Zachary (Julia LaReau), and by four siblings; William (To Me Hill), Linda Gnann (Alan), Kathleen (Paul Doerle) and Elizabeth Lindsey (John).

Michael loved his family. During summer, he and his father took in hundreds of CNY dirt track races. In winter they often attended Syracuse Crunch hockey games. When his father needed him most, Mike moved in with him and took care of him in his later years. Mike had great pride in his sons' many successes. And his greatest joy came from his grandchildren, William and Maya. Mike also loved music of all genres and passed his love onto his children, who went on to become multi-instrumentalists.

Michael has now entered eternal rest in Strawberry Fields. And wishes friends and family to "lmagine".
