TUPPER LAKE- Gary W. Bujold, 67, of Tupper Lake died Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Born January 23, 1945 in Tupper Lake, he was the son of Edmund and Frances (Vibert) Bujold. Gary was employed as a welder working for various companies such as General Dynamics, Gouverneur Iron Works and Coastal Iron Works. During the preparation of the 1980 winter Olympics, Gary worked on the Mt. Van hoevenberg bobsled run. He enjoyed several hobbies including, photography, hunting, fishing, shooting and reloading. He is survived by his companion Robin Rechnitzer, daughter Penny Cole and her husband Joseph, one son, John and his wife Jill, one brother, Richard and his wife Kelly, three sisters, Cynthia Sauvageau and her husband John, Darline Bujold, Sandra Annette and her husband William. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Heather Werner, Nicholas Cole, Brittany Cole, John Jr., Karen, Eliza Bujold, one great-grandson Jacob Cole and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother Ronald Bujold. There will be no calling hours, burial will be in the family plot at St. Alphonsus cemetery.
