Timothy Bova

Timothy Martin Bova, Age 65, of Malone, NY and formerly of Saranac Lake and Vermontville, NY passed away on Monday February 20, 2023 at the University of Vermont, Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital in Plattsburgh.

Timothy was born in Saranac Lake, NY on January 31, 1958 the son of Joseph Martin Bova and Dora Mary (Gates) Bova.

Timothy grew up in the Tri-Lakes area where he enjoyed the outdoors and particularly loved fishing. He also was an avid hunter. Tim worked as a handyman, specializing in painting and carpentry throughout the Tri-Lakes area.

Tim grew up in Vermontville, but spent most of his life in Saranac Lake.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 23 years of Elizabethtown, NY and formerly of Saranac Lake, Susan (LaVair) Bova. His sister Kristina (Jerry) Swinyer and his brothers: Brad, Joseph (Tammy) and Wayne Bova. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Dora Bova and his sister Carol Vorman.

Funeral Arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. John's in the Wilderness Catholic Cemetery in Lake Clear at the convenience of the family.
