TUPPER LAKE- Gladys M. Boushie, 87, of Tupper Lake, passed away Monday, November 17 at her home on Main St. Born on April 29, 1921 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Emile and Evelyn (LaBarge) LaLonde. On April 26, 1941 she married Dorran Boushie at Holy Name Church. He pre-deceased her on October 9, 2006. Mrs. Boushie was employed at Maids Pharmacy working as a sales clerk. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo and going to the casino. She also enjoyed playing golf in the ladies twi-light league. She is survived by three daughters; Diane Boucher and her husband Steven, Donna Snyder and her husband James, Mary McLear and her husband Patrick, all of Tupper Lake. Seven grandchildren; Tammy Boucher, James Boucher, both of Tupper Lake, Darcy Westover of St. Albans, Vt., Gary Dechene, Michelle Golden, both of Newville, Pa., Jason McLear of Keller TX and Scott McLear of Olean, NY. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Sarah Boucher, Dorran Boucher, Shayne Golden, Drew Dechene, Tommy McLear, Emma McLear and Lauren McLear, one brother Sherman LaLonde and two sisters, Theresa Yaworski and Barbara Kasper. She was pre-deceased by her husband Dorran, one sister Geraldine Beaudette and great-grandson Travis Dechene. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake. A mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
