Diane Boucher

Diane M. Boucher, 66, of Tupper Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2010 surrounded by all her family.

Born on November 18, 1943 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Dorran and Gladys (LaLonde) Boushie. She married her high school sweetheart, Steven J. Boucher, on June 15, 1963, at Holy Name Church.

Diane worked at Sunmount DDSO in Tupper Lake as a mail clerk and for over 20 years at the Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union. Through the years, Diane enjoyed a number of activities including golf, bowling, bingo, and an occasional trip to the casino. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband; Steven, of Tupper Lake; and three children, a daughter, Tammy Boucher, a son, James Boucher and his wife Shelley, of Tupper Lake, and a daughter, Darcy Westover and her husband Dean, of St. Albans, Vt.. She is also survived by her two sisters; twin sister Donna Snyder and her husband Jim, and Mary McLear and her husband Pat, all of Tupper Lake. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Sarah Boucher of Saugerties, NY, and Dorran Boucher, of Tupper Lake. She was predeceased by her parents Dorran and Gladys.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.

A mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, August 26, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name Church. Burial will follow at the St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
