Larry M. Bombard, age 71, of Saranac Lake, died Monday, May 28, 2018 at Adirondack Medical Center.
Born in North Bangor, New York on December 21, 1946, he was the son of Milton and Cora (Shorette) Bombard.
Larry is a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War from January 17, 1967 to December 2, 1968. He had served in the Btry A, 5th Bn, 22nd Artillery unit and had served in the Vietnam Counter Offensive Phase III and the TET Counter Offensive. Larry had also worked for various businesses as a mechanic, truck driver and carpenter.
He is survived by three children Tammy Barrigar of Tampa, FL, Conan Bombard of Jacksonville, FL and Teri Lynn Spracklin of Bloomingdale, seven grandchildren Kera, Adam, Dannielle, Brian, Easton, Mark and Michael, three sisters Carolyn McCormick of Lake Placid, Arlene (Floyd) Hogan of Deland, FL and Judy (Gary) Jones of Grand Canyon, his former spouse Vickie Bombard of Jacksonville, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter Jamie Carter.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A graveside service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
