Word has been received of the death of George E. Besaw, age 77, of Vermontville, NY who passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at the University of Vermont, Champlain Valley Physician's Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY.
George was born on February 4, 1946, the son of George E. Besaw, Sr and Clara (Swinyer) Besaw. He married the former Sara Keith on April 3, 1982 in Bloomingdale, NY.

Calling hours are scheduled to take place on Tuesday June 27, 2023 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. A memorial service will take place at 12:00pm with Pastor Daniel Shumway officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Union Cemetery in the family lot.
