Rita's skill with needle and thread (as well as yarn) was extraordinary. A devoted "Gramma" to Phillip Dickson (Kimberly) of Mechanicville, NY, and Matthew Dickson (Lorilee) of Melville, NY. She enjoyed immensely her time with great grandchildren Tyler and Rosalind (Phillip), Carlee and Anthony (Matthew), Xavier, Damien, Malique, and Malasia (Gary). She is also survived by her niece Shelley Hayden, nee Tyler, (James) of Saranac Lake with whom she enjoyed a special relationship, her other nieces Shirley Hadley, nee Tyler, of Oswego, Barbara Landis, nee Tyler, (James) of Lancaster, PA and nephew Thomas Tyler, as well as Sister-in-law Eunice Tyler of Saranac Lake and God-Daughter, Lorraine Kelly, nee Duprey, of Saranac Lake and a beloved friend Father Carmen Giuliano of Garrison NY. Rita was predeceased by her husband Chet on October 26, 2003. Her brothers John Tyler and Stanley Tyler also predeceased her, as did her beloved Boston rier, Betsy.
