Paul Becker,46, of Tupper Lake passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 10, 2012. Born January 27, 1966 in Saranac Lake, he was the son of Robert and Mary (Olsen) Becker. Paul was a graduate of Tupper Lake High School in 1985. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Paul served as a Electronic Warfare Technician aboard the USS Arthur Radford from 1985- 1989. After his enlistment, Paul returned to Tupper Lake and was a carpenter working with his father at R&C Becker Construction. For a short time he was employed as a therapy aide at Sunmount DDSO. He went on to be self employed making Adirondack furniture, remodeling and constructing guide boats. Paul had many interests, he enjoyed gardening, cooking and sugaring. He loved to be outdoors, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his father of Jupiter, FL, brothers David and Mark of Tupper Lake, one sister Amy Symonds of Glens Falls, one nephew and four nieces , several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his mother, one brother Robert and a sister Joan. The family will receive friends from 1 -2 pm Friday, February 17th at St. Alphonsus church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus cemetery in May. Arrangements are with the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
