Marjorie Bardon

Marjorie Cecile (Cadorette) Bardon, age 99, of Mercy Health Care Tupper Lake, formerly of Bloomingdale, NY died Wednesday December 9, 2020 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Marjorie was born in Canada, the daughter of Henry and Madge (Salmon) Cadorette on February 9, 1921, one of their nine children. Marjorie married her first husband William “Bill” Lonsbury who predeceased her and her second husband Michael Bardon who predeceased her in 1973.

Marjorie was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and worked for many years as and Administrative Secretary for North Country Community College in Saranac Lake. She also loved to read, cook, watch varieties of birds out her window and especially be with her grandchildren and great grandchildren the loves of her life.

Marjorie is survived by her sister Cathleen (Cadorette) Nolan, her daughter Madge (Lonsbury) Schnurr, her grandchildren: Marc Lonsbury, Kristin (Lonsbury) Keefe and Amber Lonsbury. She is also survived by her Great grandchildren: Kennedy Keefe, Brandt Keefe, Ella Beaney and Isabella Tourville, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband William and her second husband Michael, her mother and father: Madge (Salmon) and Henry Cadorette, her brothers: Joseph, Edward, Roy, Henry and Thomas Cadorette and her sisters: Thelma and Pamela Cadorette.

Funeral Arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. At Marjorie’s request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral Services will be held later in 2021 at a time and place convenient for the family.
