Christopher Banker

Christopher Charles Banker, 38 of Bloomingdale, NY and currently of Kittanning, PA died Saturday April 18, 2015 in Kittanning, PA.

Born in Saranac Lake, NY on April 26, 1975 he was the son of Lynn Banker and Barbara (Boula) Hathaway.

Christopher was currently working as a Superintendent for MEC Construction and had been working in Kittanning, PA for the past year. In his professional life he was an accomplished welder. One of his favorite past times was fishing.

He is survived by his wife Michelle (Smith) Banker, who he married on October 16, 2010 in Saranac Lake, two children Stephen Thomas Banker and Taylor Paige Smith, his mother Barbara Hathaway of Saranac Lake, his father and step mother Lynn and Dawn Banker of Massena, four brothers and sisters Savana Banker of Massena, Ty Banker of Massena, Ryan (Traci) Hathaway of Saranac Lake and Sandy Hathaway of Saranac Lake and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Evelyn and Jess Boula, paternal grandparents Jessyln and Benjamin Banker and his father Daniel Hathaway.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral home on Monday April 27, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Rev. Thomas Higman.
