Robert Charles Angley, Jr., age 19, of 2276 Main Street, Essex, died Monday, December 13, 2010.

Born in Bronx, New York on June 08, 1991, he was the son of Robert Angley and Perla Hannelore.

Robert attended and graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown, MD. He had been a resident of Essex, New York since September and had been employed at the Essex Marina. Robert had spent most of his childhood actively involved in playing baseball, and also played on his high school football team. Robert had eyes that would light up a room, and a smile that touched the hearts of everyone around him. He had a knack for making people laugh, even under the most trying circumstances, and was an amazing conversationalist. Robert had a talent for making sense of things that were often difficult to understand, and was always the shoulder to lean on. He looked for the good in all people, and had a special love for animals. He was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend, and the bonds he formed with us can never be broken or forgotten. Robert will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his mother Perla Diana Hannelore of Essex, NY, his three brothers, Paul Siracusa of Maryland, Brent Angley and Ricky Angley of Bronx, NY, one sister, Tiffany Angley of Westchester, NY, one nephew, Aiden Siracusa of Maryland, four aunts, Esmeralda Rothaupt of Bloomingdale, NY, and Lamar Domicolo of NJ, Denise and Debbie Angley, two uncles, Miguel and Miguel Angel Cintron of NJ, nine cousins, Sarah Rukaj, Maria, Faith and Jacqueline Rothaupt, Joseph and Bianca Domicolo, Sophia, Olivia and Mateo Cintron, his maternal grandfather, Miguel Cintron of NJ., Family friends Henrietta Vogel, Barry Hamilton &Teresa Mero., Bradley Shindelman, Dallas Dunn, Ronnie Baird, Chas Roberts, Michael Byrd, Devon Williams, Corey Dixon, Khiry Hines, Amber Hanks, Elizabeth Cromwell, Justin Kander, Justin and Jessica Larson and all his friends from Franklin High School “You will never be forgotten”., He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Angley, paternal grandparents James and Diane Angley, paternal uncle, Scott Angley and maternal grandmother, Hannah Weller (Cintron).

“Walking for Rob” Suicide Awareness Walk., Will be held Tuesday June 21st, 2011

from 11:00AM – 2:00PM., The walk will begin at the Westport Fairgrounds and ending at Ballard Park., Dedication ceremony commemorating the Memorial Garden to follow at the Mental Health Association in Essex County, Inc at 6096 NYS RTE 9N, Westport NY. This event is open to the public for more information call 518.962.2077.

A memorial service took place at 1:00 PM on Thursday December 16, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Essex, NY. A graveside service took place at 12:00 PM on Friday December 17, 2010 at Pinelawn Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY, with Rabbi Mark Goldsbergh officiating.
