Eric Stanley Thompson, 40, of Lake Clear, NY passed away unexpectedly of heart failure on November 27, 2023.
He was born August 3, 1983 in Potsdam to Rick and Janet Favro Thompson, and graduated from Saranac Lake Central School.
He was predeceased by his father Rick Edward Thompson in 2015.
Eric is survived by his wife Ashley of Saranac Lake, sister, Kira Thompson and mother Janet Simonson, of Asheville, NC; also by two sons Cody Montagnola of Wilmington, and Brayden Thompson of Tupper Lake.
Eric enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and boating. He was a self-employed mechanic and caretaker. In winter he also plowed snow. It goes without saying, his favorite place on earth was at the family camp on Upper Saranac Lake.
Arrangements are in care of the Fortune Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no services at this time.
