Jon B. Bombard Sr., age 83, of Saranac Lake, died Saturday, July 24, 2021.
Born in Saranac Lake, New York on July 24, 1938, he was the son of Douglas and Charlotte (Littlejohn) Bombard who predeceased him.
Jon served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, retiring as Master Sargent Instructor on SAC.
Jon is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ria (Crary) Bombard. Jon’s five children from a previous marriage Jon Jr. (Paula) and their sons Jon Cullen and Michael; Nancy (Dick (d)) Zerrahn and her son Ian; Madalain (Jerry) Michaelson and their children Tim and Amanda; Kimberly Tromblee (Daniel) and their sons Jacob and William and Leisha Brandl (partner Jerry) and her children George and Donna. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and his best friend “The Old Goat” Loren Vaughn.
Jon was predeceased by three siblings, Madalain, James and Natalie.
Funeral services are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
