Gail Farley

Gail Robin (Reed) Farley of Bloomingdale, NY, born March 24, 1953 passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2020 at UVM of Vermont, with her family by her side.

Gail married the love of her life, Jerry Farley on April 8, 1972. They have been married for 47 years.

In Gail’s spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading, her crafts and spoiling her Yorkies. Most of all she enjoyed being with all her family.

Gail retired after 25 years from AMC Saranac Lake. She was a Central Supply Technician.

Gail is survived by her husband Jerry, her two daughters: Melanie Dushane of Lake Placid and Patricia (Robert) Lawrence of Saranac Lake, her son: Jerry “Jake” Farley of Bloomingdale and two sisters: Angela LaPierre and Mary Reed. Gail is also survived by her six grandchildren: Tony, Ashley, Courtney, Haley, Sydney and Deacon. Eight great Grandchildren: Blake, Layla, Ava, Raeven, Rhylan, Wyatt, Madelyn and Ramona, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Gail was predeceased by her parents: Richard and Gertrude (Vosburgh) Reed and two sisters: Sandy Beede and Linda Roy.

Gail will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. At Gail’s request there will be no calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Family and friends wishing to remember Gail Robin Farley can make memorial donations to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
