Eunice Tyler

Eunice Tyler (92) of Plattsburgh, NY died peacefully on Sept. 15, 2019.

She was born in Churubusco, NY, on June 14, 1927, daughter of the late James and Alphonise (Allie) Murray.

She was a longtime resident of Saranac Lake and Gabriels. She worked in the cafeteria at Paul Smiths College before retirement. She spent her later years at Keene Valley Neighborhood House and Meadowbrook Healthcare. She enjoyed reading, word puzzles, and Bingo.

She is predeceased by her husband John H. Tyler. She is survived by her son, Thomas, of Gabriels, and daughter, Barbara (Jim) Landis, of Lancaster, PA, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Elizabeth Mangino of Middlesex, NJ and Rita Brand of Schenectady, NY. She is predeceased by two sisters: Annabel Smith and Anastasia Murray.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home, 20 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. There will be no calling hours, a graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday September 23, 2019 at Mt. View Cemetery in Gabriels.
