I just heard of Tom’s passing, and wanted to express my condolence. I will always remember his good-humored personality, and his heartfelt words at Uncle Herman's funeral expressing how he had always admired his strong work ethic and had aspired to have a similar one. That by far was accomplished. Cherish your wonderful memories of a life well lived.

Tom, I will always remember your kind heart and wonderful sense of humor. I did not know you well - only through a few interactions when we were both involved in Voters For Change and other community work in Saranac Lake. Rest in peace.

Thinking of Tom's family today and remembering him fondly. He was my 4th grade teacher in Bloomingdale. I remember him as so kind and patient. Always helpful . I remember when he bought a pair of shoes for a boy in the class who didn't have good ones. And i remember a few days before last day of school he brought in a big 5 gallon tub of ice cream and a huge basket of cherries , and he took the class outside and we ate it under the shade of the trees..will never forget it. His humor and kind spirit has stayed with me throughout my life. RIP.
Heaven has gained an angel.

Tom was a great guy, his sense of humor was infectious. His friendship with the Nesbitt family will always be remembered! But, more important, Tom was a very loving father to Amy and Tracy, grand father to Thomas, John, David and Kayla, great grandfather, brother and uncle. His work ethic either in the classroom, behind a desk or Jack of all trades was unparalleled! It goes without saying we will never forget this man who gave us so many fond memories.
