Frederick C. Boadway 82 went home to be with the Lord on Monday May 28, 2018.

Fred was one of 8 children born to Royal and Mary Louise(Condon) Boadway in Malone, NY. He is preceded in death by his twin brother Edward, Woodrow, his sisters Royaldo, Myrtle, Marion, and Mildred. He is survived by his brothers Francis (Gay). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his best friend Nannette and Mark Winters of Bloomingdale, NY.

Fred worked at North Star Industries from 1984 to 1996 and from 1996- 2018 attended North Star Day Hab.
Previously a resident at St. Bernard's IRA, Fred moved to his home at 80 Edgewood in 2006 and residing there until his passing. Fred enjoyed practicing his faith and celebrating his religious beliefs that in December of 2002 he was certified as a Reverend and approved to preach the word of God by St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Fred enjoyed many of life's pleasures such as dining out, especially cheeseburgers from McDonalds and breakfast sandwiches from McKenzie's, shopping for another bible or cross, listening to his gospel music, reading his bible, drinking ice tea or diet coke, visiting with friends, and daily prayers for all his friends and family. His smile, laugh, and bantering words will be deeply missed by all those who have come to know Fred over the years.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Fortune - Keough Funeral Home, with Rev. Joanne White officiating. Burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone on Thursday.

A very special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Edgewood 80 who provided such a warm and loving home for Fred: to High Peaks Hospice for their compassionate care: and to all the staff and his friends at North Star and in the community for making his life so rich.
