Thomas Huggins Sr
September 8, 1947 — March 1, 2018
Thomas E. Huggins, Sr., age 70, recently of Elderwood at Uihlein in Lake Placid and formerly of 60 Church Street Saranac Lake, went to be with his savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 01, 2018.
Born in Buffalo, New York on September 08, 1947, he was the son of Frances Daunais and William Huggins.
He is survived by a son Thomas Huggins, Jr. of Lyon Mountain, two brothers, William Huggins of Gabriels and Patrick Huggins of Plattsburgh, two sisters Karen Thornquist of Wellesley Hills, MA and Patricia Vaughn of Saranac Lake and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Alice Huggins of Malone.
Tom was an avid trout fisherman, bowler and loved to hunt, as well. Tom was a member of the Saranac Lake Adult Center and while living at DeChantel Apartments on Church Street he enjoyed playing “nickel bingo” with his many friends.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
