Carol Lee  VanWeort
Carol Lee VanWeort, age 48, of 58 Academy Street, Malone, NY died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT.

Born in Saranac Lake, New York on May 22, 1963, she was the daughter of Joseph and Dora (Gates) Bova, Sr.

Carol graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1982. She later attended and graduated from North Country Community College. Prior to retiring due to health she had worked as a Nurses Aid at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid and had also worked as a Teachers Assistante Saranac Lake middle school. Carol was active in sports in high school and she loved the outdoors especially camping.

She is survived by two children John Bova of Moria, NY, and David Bova of Vermontville, NY, her mother and fathers Joseph Bova, Sr. of Lake Placid and Dora Bova of Malone, her twin sister Christine and husband Gerald Swinyer of Vermontville, NY, four brothers Bradley Bova of Orlando, FL, Timothy Bova and his wife Sue of Malone, NY, Joseph Bova, Jr.and his wife Tammy of Saranac Lake, NY and Wayne Bova and his wife Kelly of Malone, NY. She is also survived by her husband Terry VanWeort of St. Petersburg Fla, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Vermontville.
