Jane Nelson

Word has been received of the death of Jane Margaret Nelson, age 80, of 29 Baker Street, Saranac Lake, who died on Thursday, January 06, 2011 at her home.

Born in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania on September 03, 1930, she was the daughter of Nelson and Margaret (McLaughlin) Davis.

Jane had been employed at the North Country Community College for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Nelson and loving mother or Richard A. (Dee), Gary R. (Lynn), Michael J., Steven P., and Jeffrey P. (Jessica). Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother in law Elizabeth Sumner, her sister Janice Lelowicz, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday January 15th, 2011 at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home with Rev. Joanne White officiating.
