Francis James “Fast Fran” Lawrence, 57, of Lake Clear, NY died April 23, 2018.
Born in Keene Valley, NY, on June 27, 1960 he was the son of Desmond Lawrence, Jr. and Helen (Buckley) Lawrence.
Fran married Denise (Dumas) Lawrence on November 24, 1978 in Wilmington, NY.
Fran and Denise raised their five children in Harrietstown. Fran was a beloved husband and the best daddy and pa. He loved his gardens and working around the house and yard and would sunbath whenever he could. Fran loved his dogs and his truck, watching wrestling, camping and NASCAR. Fran loved to spend his spare time in the woods hunting, fishing, and enjoying time with his beloved family and friends.
Fran is survived by his wife Denise, his four daughters: Christa (Anthony) Tyler, Susan Lawrence (Fiancé Heath Carter), Lisa Smith (Cory), and Kelly LaMoy, and his son Eugene (Donna) LaMoy. His grandchildren: Connor, Collin and Carson LaVair, Kiana and Serena Carter, Ethan Smith, and Brady, Audrenna and Bella LaClair. Fran is also survived by his sisters Helen “Tinky” (Norman) Collidge, Carol Smith and Melvina Macey and his brothers Mark and Larry Lawrence, and several nieces and nephews.
Fran was predeceased in death by his mother and father, a sister Ann Marie LaMoy and a brother Eugene Lawrence.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
