Marlene D. Hare, age 68, of 12 Bloomingdale Ave., Saranac Lake, died Thursday, October 27, 2016.
Born in Lebanon, New Hampshire on January 22, 1948, she was the daughter of Leon and Irene D. (Foley) Theriault.
Marlene had been employed as a nurses aid at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid for many years. She also was a member of the Saranac Lake Moose Club.
She is survived by two sons, David Hare of Lake Placid and Matthew Hare (Kristin Ayotte) of Saranac Lake and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father mother and one brother.
Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Wilbert Gamble officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Tupper Lake.
